Mechanical Properties

Methods

How strong is it? Will it resist wear? Is it likely to crack when being stamped? These are some of the questions that can be answered by testing the mechanical properties of your material.

Not only can we measure most mechanical properties that you might require, we also prepare your test specimens in our in-house CNC equipped machine shop.

Tensile, n or r values, Rockwell, Vickers or Knoop hardness are properties we routinely measure for our metals clients.

We also measure mechanical properties on polymers and composites such as durometer, hardness, flexural strength and modulus, tensile and impact strength.
